Here are a few of our favourite games from our code club members this term :
Thanks to the Parents Association for providing a fun Easter Egg Hunt and delicious chocolate egg to all the Year Sixes. This week, Year 6 were visited by Ryan from Rayleigh Tennis Club who gave us some useful tennis tips. At the end of Book Week, 6H paid a visit to 2H to share some of our work with each other. We were very impressed with the Year 2 story maps and they seemed to enjoy our descriptive writing about famous characters. On World Book Day this year, we all came dressed as our favourite characters from famous texts. Can you guess who we are?
In Mrs V's maths group, we spent some time looking at line graphs and the story they can tell. Have a look at the videos we made, showing the stories of some different graphs.
Congratulations to the Year 6 Quiz Team, who won the final of the inter-school quiz at the Rayleigh Baptist Church this afternoon. We fought off tough competition from Grovewood, Rayleigh Primary and Glebe to win the coveted trophy. In addition to this, Natasha was named Best Quiz Performer overall at the competition for her outstanding displays in both the semi-final and the final. Well done to all 16 of you who took part! An outstanding achievement.
The Year Six quiz team visited Grove School this afternoon for an inter-school quiz competition. We did amazingly, winning and scoring 171 points along the way. We will now appear in the final two weeks today so we will keep you posted... |
